Ma'anar ƙamus na kalmar "ƙwaƙwalwa" ita ce yin aiki ko ratayewa da tsoratarwa, ko motsawa ko zazzagewa cikin sauri da gaggawa. Hakanan yana iya komawa ga tsarin siffa ko ƙare dutse ta hanyar bugun samansa don samar da nau'i mai laushi.

There could be no doubt about the beetling forehead, the sunken animal eyes.
