(1) We began with an antipasto platter of prosciutto di parma, buffalo mozzarella, tomatoes, courgette , peppers and aubergine.

(2) There was a nice waxy potato and onion gratin, stir-fried savoy cabbage, sweet roast carrots, quite acceptable courgette and mangetout.
